Treasure Island Resort – At the center of the Strip
Safe Campus is being held in the second-floor conference area of the beautiful Treasure Island Hotel and Resort. The AAA Four Diamond resort is located right on the Las Vegas Strip. Treasure Island is the home of Cirque du Soleil’s Mystère, the first Cirque du Soleil production in Las Vegas and 14 restaurants and bars.
The conference rate is for DELUXE rooms and valid for single or double-occupancy.

Getting to Las Vegas
Airfare to Las Vegas is some of the lowest in the nation, because of city subsidies. Many universities have discounts with preferred airline partners. Check to see if yours does.
Flights for Southwest Airlines do not always appear on travel site search engines. If your departure city is serviced by Southwest Airlines, you may want to check their fares on the airline’s website.
Getting Around Las Vegas
Taxi cabs run 24-hours a day along the Strip and the Downtown area. Average taxi fare from the Las Vegas Airport to Treasure Island Resort is $27 and is a 10-minute trip in light traffic. Each cab is clean, safe and uses meters to track fares which you can see from the back seat.

Taxis to not pick up or drop off passengers along Las Vegas Boulevard (the street that is “the Strip”). You must go to a taxi stand at any of the Strip hotels to get a taxi.

By airport shuttle
There are 24-hour shuttles from the Las Vegas Airport to Treasure Island. Average shuttle fare is $9 one way or $15 round trip. Shuttles are located outside of baggage claim. Follow the signs.
The Las Vegas Monorail runs along the east side of the Strip stopping at seven stations. Tram hours vary by day running from 7 a.m. to midnight or later on the weekends. Follow the signs in each station-stop to locate the platform.
Cost: A single-ride ticket costs $5. A 24-hour pass $12 and a 3-day pass is $28. The ticket valid from when first used a the fare gate. Automated touch-screen ticket vending machines are available at each station.
Treasure Island-Mirage Tram
A free tram through a jungle forest takes guests from Treasure Island Resort to the Mirage Resort. The tram runs from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday though Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday . The tram departs every every 8 minutes and the ride lasts about 5 minutes.
In Treasure Island, follow the signs to “The Tram.” The station is inside the resort and located near the parking garage.
Bellagio-City Center-Monte Carlo Tram
The free tram runs from 8 a.m. to 4 a.m. daily and departs every 7 minutes. The full ride last about 6 minutes. There are stops at Bellagio, Crystals/City Center, Aria, and Monte Carlo. Follow the signs in each resort to locate the tram platform.
Mandalay Bay-Excalibur Tram
There is a free “express tram” and “all-stops tram” along this route that connects hotels along the south end of the Strip. The express trams runs from the Excalibur directly to Mandalay Bay in 3 minutes. The express tram runs from 9 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Sunday though Thursday and 9 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. The tram departs every 3 to 7 minutes.
The all-stops tram runs from Mandalay Bay to Luxor to the Excalibur. The tram departs every 8 minutes from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. daily. The full ride lasts about 8 minutes.
